Course Description

In this course, we will learn how to think with data. This will involve learning how to explore, visualize, model, and draw proper conclusions from data. Using the statistical software R, we will explore and analyze a variety of datasets, including data related to elections, COVID-19, social justice, trees in Portland, etc.

  • Commuter room reservations have ended. If you need a commuter room for your lectures or lab (or both!) for the last week of classes, please email Lauren at to get one set up.

    • Wed, Dec 9th: Final Project Assignment due. Submit to this Ensemble dropbox folder.
    • Thur/Fri, Dec 10th/11th: Final Exam Takehome and Oral.
