Format and Submission Guidelines

• R Markdown will be used to create the Modules and a completed Module must be submitted as a PDF file. Do not write your name in the assignment. Your document upload will automatically match to your name in Gradescope.
• It is expected that assignments must be submitted on time. If any extenuating circumstances arise, please let the instructor know.

R Markdown Template and Errors

• It is recommended that you knit the template initially first before you start working on it to make sure that it produces the correct PDF.
• To minimize errors you have to deal with, the trick is to knit your Rmd file every time you create a new R code block or every time you add content. Save often, knit often.
• In the event that you have uncommon or difficult knitting problems that you can’t fix, let the instructor know immediately, or seek help from the course assistants.

Academic Honor Principle

• All of your notes, textbooks, lecture slides, and the course website are all available to you. If you like, you may also look for information and assistance on the internet. You have complete freedom to collaborate. It’s not necessary to mention who you collaborated with.
• The R codes of different people may be the same or similar. Topics and solutions can be discussed with your peers, but open-ended questions, as well as those that need explanations or analysis, must be completed independently. Each student must take personal responsibility for their work and submit it individually.
• Please abide by the Reed College Honor Principle, which states that
